Talks & Lectures

Looking for a talk for your lodge meeting when you haven’t got a ceremony to do? I can offer the following 3 talks:

  1. The Select & Progressive Orders of Freemasonry

A look at the various other orders of Freemasonry, their history, their regalia and how they relate (or not) to Craft Masonry. The talk also establishes the timeline of the various degrees. It lasts between 30 and 40 minutes and can be tailored so it is suitable for EAs.

  2. Freemasonry in Germany and the formation of the Grand Lodge of British Freemasons in Germany

A talk on Freemasonry in Germany pre WWII, how it was driven out by the Nazi regime yet recovered post-war. It also covers how my mother Grand Lodge came into being.

  3. The Somme to Flanders, 62 miles of blood, sweat and tears…

A non-masonic talk covering my long distance charity walks along the Western Front in aid of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.

I don’t charge for any lecture but a donation to ABF The Soldiers’ Charity is always appreciated.
